I received my MSW and PhD in Social Work from the Hunter College School of Social Work and the Graduate Center of New York. I have almost thirty years of clinical experience practicing in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient hospital psychiatry, mental health clinics, school-based programs and graduate school counseling. I was formerly an Adjunct Professor for the MSW Program at the Silberman School of Social Work and a Program Director at the Violence Prevention and Treatment Program at The Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center. In addition to my practice, I am a clinician at The Mount Sinai Hospital, Department of Psychiatry.
